Our most popular song to this date is “Mary-Ann” written by our songwriters “Kingen” and Björn Höglund. Last year we placed it on Platinum-record selling “Lasse Stefanz” and this year Kingen himself will recieve a gold record for the same song as the collection “Absolute Rockabilly” reached gold status after just two weeks in the stores! (May 2010)
The producers of “Absolute Rockabilly” pulled the track “Mary-Ann” from Kingen´s album “Ride With Me”, and placed it on their collection, where it´s companied by legends like Elvis, and Jerry Lee to name a few. We are honored of course!

“The Playtones” are the proud winners of the national TV-contest “Dansbandskampen”. With their distinct sound and image, they needed specific original material to match their profile for their upcoming album. We were contacted by The Playtones Publisher,Conny Danepalm, manager of “Lionheart Music”, asking if we had any material that would fit. We turned to our songwiters and went through our entire catalogue and sent a few suggestions for the album.
The band chose three songs from BCS;
- Crying over you (T.Karlsson/B.Höglund)
- Brand new Bop (T.Karlsson/B.Höglund)
- Förlåt mig om du kan (Å. Hallgren)
We are thrilled to collaborate with Lionheart Music on this project and wish to thank everybody involved!

After six months of collaborating and negotiating we finally landed a license agreement with ”Grey Dog Records” in Japan. This means that GDR will release our record “Ride “With Me” with the artist “Kingen” in Japan, starting with all Tower Record-stores throughout the country.
It started with GDR director Takuya Watanabe discovering Kingens Music on the net as his album got great reviews in the US and had a lot of air play on net-radiostations around the world. GDR approached us and suggested a license-deal and we accepted.
We are now very happy to announce the nationwide release in Japan the 20´th of January!
The Japan version of the album include two exclusive bonus tracks; “Baby who´s done you wrong” and “Good to be back”, the latter a track originally intended for the Swedish artist “Björn Skifs” but now released by “Kingen” instead.
