Black Cat Songs started as a Music Publishing company in 2006. Located in Östersund, northern Sweden, we bring together talented writers from all over the country for lots of different projects.

Our first placements included four original songs on “The Boppers” Christmas album in 2006, followed by six more songs on their 30´th anniversary album in 2007.

In 2007 we also added a record label to the brand BCS and released  the artist  Kingen´s second album  ”Ride With Me”.

In 2008-09 things started happening for real with Gold- and Platinum awards for our placements on “Lasse Stefanz” album “Truck Stop”.

American Broadcasting Network “CBS” used one of our Songs in the Primetime Friday night-show “Swingtown”.

We also placed several songs on (legendary Swedish bands)  ”Streaplers” and “Black Jack´s” records in 2008-2009.

January 2010 started off with no less then three songs from Black Cat Songs on “Playtones” new album,  winners of the big televised music challange “Dansbandskampen”.

May 2010 came with another pleasant surprise as  the collection “Absolute Rockabilly” recieved a gold record. The album includes the BCS-song “Mary-Ann” written by Torgny Karlsson and Björn Höglund.

A lot of people, bands and Record labels  makes serious money using songs from BCS.
